Terms of use

These terms are between you and IAMSULTAN LLC, a company in the United Arab Emirates (“we”), and cover your use of the Fresh Notch app. By installing or using Fresh Notch, you agree to them.

Buying

Fresh Notch is sold by Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”) as our merchant of record. Polar processes the payment and taxes, and its buyer terms cover the purchase itself. Prices are shown before you pay and are one-time payments, not subscriptions.

Your licence

• A licence lets you use Fresh Notch on as many Macs as you bought it for (2 or 5), for personal or work use, for as long as you like. It includes every future update of Fresh Notch.
• You can move it between Macs by removing it from one in Settings › Licence, or from your account, and activating it on another.
• Please don’t share your key beyond the Macs it covers, resell it, or try to get around the licence check.
• We keep all rights to the app. You may not copy, modify or redistribute it, except as the law allows.

Free trial

You can use Fresh Notch free for 14 days from the first launch. After that, the readings keep working, and reminders and advice pause until you activate a licence.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying, no questions asked. See the refund policy. A refunded licence stops working.

What Fresh Notch does and doesn’t do

Fresh Notch reads what macOS reports about memory, swap, uptime and updates, and suggests quitting an app or restarting when that’s likely to help. It never restarts your Mac or quits an app on its own. When you choose Restart or Quit, macOS asks your apps to save first, the same as the Apple menu does, but we can’t guarantee that every app saves your work. Save anything important before you restart.

No warranty

Fresh Notch is provided “as is”. Its suggestions are estimates from what macOS reports, and they can be wrong. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or work. Our total liability for anything to do with Fresh Notch is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll say so on this site and in the app’s release notes, and the version in force when you bought keeps applying to that purchase. You can stop using Fresh Notch at any time by deleting it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes go to the courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
